Tavistock Group / 2013 - 2014

My primary focus as a designer while with Tavistock Group was Albany Bahamas Resort. The first introduction I had to the resort was through The Spa at Albany brochure. This prominent amenity was one of the first to establish and brand themselves within the company. This piece was their debut, informing Albany members and its many visitors of its unique, freestanding Villas. The design process was on the conceptual side in a way that we wanted The Spa to stand out yet still represent Albany. The neutral colors and a slight accent of gold helped to enhance the simplicity
and sophistication the facility brings. At the size of half a letter page, we wanted something small so it not only stands as a brochure but a tangible token.

This piece was created to show just how integral health and fitness is to the Albany community.
With several of their fitness trainers being viewed as top in their field, the resort wanted to further enrich their members and others with this cutting edge program. They worked with 360 Health & Performance founder Justin Buckthorp to establish customizable programs to keep members on
their toes and consistent in refining their heath structure.

The concept behind the design was to bring across the information in standard Albany fashion,
clean and simple. The tone was for it to stand out with absolute clarity. The program is a diverse
and unique experience that touches on multiple aspects of fitness. The blue throughout helps to enhance and unify these ideas as one. The photos were chosen to show that while there is a wide range in which to participate in the program, all of them could be successfully completed at Albany. Whether it be on the beach, use of their 25-meter lap pool, yoga near their tranquil spa or even
golfing on their immaculate course.
